With over 15 years in the commercial construction world, I got my start the old-fashioned way—out in the field, working with my hands and learning the trades from the ground up. That hands-on experience taught me the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and the importance of doing things right the first time.

Over the years, I moved into project management, where I learned how to lead teams, keep jobs on track, and make sure every build met high standards for quality and safety. But more than anything, I learned how important it is to treat people right—whether it’s your crew or your clients.

Eventually, I decided to take that experience and build something of my own. That’s how Backyard Designs NWA came to life—a family-run business focused on creating outdoor spaces that folks can be proud of. From sunrooms and pergola outdoor kitchens and full backyard makeovers, we bring the same care and attention to detail to every job, big or small.

I run this business alongside my wife, Lauren, and our three boys—Gaige, Gabriel, and Grayson. We’re proud to call Northwest Arkansas home and treat every client like part of the family. Our goal is simple: deliver honest service, quality work, and a finished product that feels like home.
